Describe a time when you were very busy
You should say:
I recall a period during my final year of high school when I was exceptionally busy. This was during the peak of university application season, combined with preparing for my final exams and participating in a major school play. It happened about two years ago. My days were packed from morning till night. I was busy with intensive study sessions for exams, writing numerous essays for university applications, attending rehearsals for the play, and still trying to maintain a social life. I was primarily with my classmates and study group friends during the day, and with the play cast and crew in the evenings. Managing it all felt like a constant juggling act. I relied heavily on meticulous planning and strict time management. I created detailed daily schedules, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance. I used a planner to keep track of deadlines and appointments. I also learned to be very efficient with my time, utilizing every spare moment for studying or writing. For instance, I would review notes during my commute or draft essays during lunch breaks. Crucially, I also learned the importance of asking for help when needed, whether it was from teachers, friends, or family. I delegated small tasks where possible and made sure to get enough sleep, even if it meant sacrificing some social time. Despite the overwhelming schedule, I managed to submit all my applications, perform well in my exams, and contribute effectively to the play. It was a challenging but ultimately rewarding period that taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, organization, and effective stress management.
